Die Initiative Perspektivwechsel e.V. setzt sich für politische und (trans-)kulturelle Bildung ein. Unser internationales Team entwickelt Projekte in Berlin und Douala (Kamerun). Im Rahmen des Projekts Auf den Spuren des Widerstandes gegen Rassismus planen wir eine Reihe von pädagogischen und interaktiven Workshops mit historischem Schwerpunkt für ein junges Publikum (16-25 Jahre) – hauptsächlich in Berlin. Ziel des Workshops ist, rassistische Denkstrukturen anhand von antikolonialen Widerstandsgeschichten zu dekonstruieren und junge Menschen zu einer antirassistischen Haltung zu ermutigen. Während des Workshops befassen wir uns mit vergangenen und gegenwärtigen antikolonialen Widerstands-bewegungen in Kamerun – einem Land, das 35 Jahre lang eine deutsche Kolonie war. Wir arbeiten auf der Grundlage des Comics Widerstand, der drei verschiedene Generationen des antikolonialen Widerstands in Kamerun darstellt.

Unsere Workshops richten sich insbesondere an Schulklassen, Jugendgruppen, Gruppen von Schwarzen und PoC-Jugendlichen, aber auch an Studierende und junge Erwachsene, die einen Freiwilligendienst im Ausland vorhaben.

Dafür möchten wir neue Multiplikator*innen ausbilden! Hierbei begrüßen wir ausdrücklich die Bewerbung von Menschen aus der kamerunischen und afrikanischen Diaspora!!

 

Was wir Dir bieten…

• 3-Tage-Ausbildung Anfang Oktober 2020
• Die Durchführung von mindestens einem Workshop in Zusammenarbeit mit jemandem erfahrenem aus unserem Team bis Ende 2020, und viele weitere WS im Jahr 2021.
• Eine Vergütung für jeden durchgeführten Workshop.
• Vertiefende Einblicke in die Beziehungen zwischen Kamerun und Deutschland während und nach der Kolonialzeit.
• Eine bereichernde Arbeit in einem freundlichen, multikulturellen Team, deren Mitglieder zur Dekonstruktion von rassistischen Denkstrukturen beitragen wollen

Was Du mitbringst…

• Du bist Studierende*r an der Universität oder Auszubildende*r im pädagogischen Bereich.
• Du verfügst über gute Deutschkenntnisse (Mindestniveau B2) und sprichst Französisch oder Englisch.
• Du hast bereits ein paar Kenntnisse über Kolonialismus und die deutsch-kamerunische Geschichte…
• Du reflektierst über Deine eigene Position innerhalb rassistischer Strukturen bzw. Machtverhältnisse.
• Du bist kreativ und bringst gerne neue Ideen ein.
• Du kannst selbständig arbeiten und Initiative ergreifen.

Dein Beitrag und Deine Stimme sind entscheidend in einem Workshop zum antikolonialen Widerstand in Kamerun! Du musst nicht schon viel zum Thema wissen – sehr großes Interesse und Engagement sind auch willkommen! Wenn Du noch keinen Workshop mit Bezug auf Kamerun durchgeführt hast, spielt das keine Rolle. Wir haben auch mal einfach so angefangen. Heute geben wir gerne unser Wissen und unsere Erfahrung an Euch weiter.

L’association Initiative Perspektivwechsel e.V. s’engage dans le domaine de l’éducation politique et (trans)culturelle. Notre équipe internationale développe des projets à Berlin et à Douala (Cameroun). Dans le cadre du projet « Sur les traces de la résistance contre le racisme », nous prévoyons une série d’ateliers pédagogiques et interactifs sur l’histoire pour un public jeune (16-25 ans), principalement à Berlin. Le but de l’atelier est de déconstruire les structures de pensée racistes en traitant de la résistance anticoloniale et d’encourager les jeunes à adopter une position antiraciste. Pendant l’atelier, nous nous penchons sur les mouvements historiques et actuels de résistance anticoloniale au Cameroun – un pays qui a été une colonie allemande pendant 35 ans. Nous travaillons à partir de la bande-dessinée Widerstand, qui met en scène trois différentes générations de résistance anticoloniale au Cameroun.

Nos ateliers s’adressent en particulier à des classes scolaires, des groupes de jeunes mixtes, des groupes de jeunes noir.es en non mixité, mais aussi à des édutiant.es et de jeunes adultes en accompagnement d’un service volontaire à l’étranger.

Nous prévoyons de former de nouvelles personnes à l’animation de ces ateliers. Nous encourageons en particulier les personnes issues de la diaspora camerounaise ou africaine à porter leur candidature !

 

Notre offre

• 3 jours de formation début octobre 2020
• Au moins un atelier réalisé en binôme avec un membre de notre équipe d’ici fin 2020, et plein d’autres en 2021
• Une rémunération pour chaque atelier animé

Ton profil

• Tu es étudiant.e à l’université ou dans une formation pédagogique
• Tu as de bonnes connaissances en Allemand (minimum niveau B2) et tu maîtrises bien soit le Français, soit l’Anglais
• Tu as quelques connaissances sur le colonialisme et l’histoire germano-camerounaise
• Tu réfléchis à ta position au sein des structures racistes/rapports de pouvoir
• Tu es créatif.ve et inventif.ve
• Tu es autonome, avec un sens de l’initiative

 

Ta présence et ta voix sont capitales dans un atelier qui parle de la résistance anticoloniale au Cameroun ! Pas besoin d’être déjà expert sur le sujet – un maximum d’intérêt et d’engagement est bienvenue ! Si tu n’as pas encore animé un atelier lié au Cameroun, ce n’est pas grave. Nous avons aussi commencé sans avoir la méthode et les contenus et aujourd’hui nous sommes heureux de partager avec toi notre savoir et notre expérience.

IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF RESISTANCE AGAINST RACISM

The association Initiative Perspektivwechsel e.V. is committed to political and (trans) cultural education. Our international team develops projects in Berlin and Douala (Cameroon). As part of the project “In the Footsteps of Resistance against Racism“, we are planning a series of educational and interactive workshops for a young audience (16-25 years), mainly in Berlin. The workshop aims to deconstruct racist thought structures by dealing with anti-colonial resistance and to encourage young people to adopt an anti-racist stance. During the workshop, we look at the historical and current anti-colonial resistance movements in Cameroon – a country that was a German colony for 35 years. We work with the comic strip Widerstand, which depicts three different generations of anti-colonial resistance in Cameroon.

Our workshops are aimed in particular at school classes, mixed youth groups, groups of young black people in non-mixed groups, but also at educators and young adults doing voluntary service abroad.

We plan to train new facilitators for these workshops. In particular, we encourage people from the Cameroonian or African Diaspora to apply!

 

Our offer

Your profile

• You are a student in the university, or in training to become an educator
• You have a good knowledge of German (minimum level B2) and you have a good command of either French or English.
• You have some knowledge of colonialism and German-Cameroonian history…
• You reflect on your position within racist structures/power relations.
• You’re creative and inventive.
• You’re independent, with a sense of initiative…

Your presence and your voice are crucial in a workshop that talks about anti-colonial resistance in Cameroon! No need to be already an expert on the subject – maximum interest and commitment are welcome! If you have not yet facilitated a workshop related to Cameroon, that’s okay. We also started without having the method and content and today we are happy to share our knowledge and experience with you.
